Pat first joined The Wild Ones in January of 1995. Janet Jackson who, at that time, was Director of Education at the Philadelphia Zoo contacted Pat through a neighbor. When asked about favorite animals, Pat couldn't think of one out of the bunch. "I love all kinds of animals, but I guess you can put me down for Reptiles and Amphibians since they're some of the not so cuddly ones."
Pat teaches eighth grade science at Indian Mills Memorial School which has 650 students. Before teaching at Indian Mills Memorial, Pat designed and led environmental field trips through Pine Lands Institute of Natural and Environmental Sciences.
"I enjoy contributing something larger than the backyard kind of thing...working with kids and bringing environmental issues into a forum where we can all learn."
