Gus landed in the water. He missed his family. Gus flew above the trees all he could see were more trees. Gus searched through the tall grass. He only saw insects and snails that he quickly ate. Gus flew above the trees again. He still saw trees. He started flying forward he saw a road. He followed it until he saw footprints! They led along the dirt road until he saw some houses. He flew down he looked into the windows of each house to see if it was his. The 59th house he looked in was his at last, he was home. He peeked in the door. It opened, he jumped from the doorknob and into the house. Gus immediately flew up to the air conditioning to get cool.

He thought it was all a dream but it wasn't. He had a hard time sleeping the rest of the night. So he ate fish in a dish and for dessert he had snails.
