This book describes how Gerald Durrell became a zookeeper. He loved animals and had a collection of pets from around the world. Most of his pets were endangered species. Taking care of animals was what he liked to do. I enjoyed reading The Ark's Anniversary, although it is very long. If you love to read, and have a lot of time, this is a good book for you.
