"Rosy the elephant" by Gerald Durrell
This book is about Rosy, an elephant, and how she and Adrian Rookwhistle were brought together by Adrian's uncle. The book describes the problems Rosy and Adrian encounter when they go in search of a circus home for Rosy. The book was fun reading. I definitely recommend it for other children.
