Yesterday was the surprising, as always, Academy Awards. This year you could predict most of the awards, but the award people were thinking about was ÔBest ActorÕ. It was on May 31st that all the people of the world got to find out who was going to win ÔBest ActorÕ. There were five nominees; each one of them had a chance to win. They were: Tom Hanks for "Forrest Gump II", Wesley Snipes for "Drop Zone II", the Poison Arrow Frog for "Cliffhanger II", Tom Cruise for "Mission Possible", and Kevin Spacey for "Unusual Suspects".

The votes were in and Whoopie Goldberg and Paul Newman gave out the award. The crowd was silent waiting for the winner. The envelope was opened and the winner was The Poison Arrow Frog for "Cliffhanger II". Everyone was so surprised about the winner that they went down town to the Academy and asked them why they chose The Poison Arrow Frog as the winner. They said, "Well, the Poison Arrow Frog did some things in that film that I couldn't even dream about. For instance, he hung on from the top of his cage by one toe, and he jumped from log to log in 3.2 seconds!" The people thought about it and realized what a good actor the frog really was. So, on that day in time, it was told across the land, that The Poison Arrow Frog deserved "Best Actor" for the Academy Awards.
