Snow monkeys are a medium sized animal. They have a light brown fur with white bellies and very red faces and bottoms. They use their hands and feet the way humans do, except when they walk. When they walk they are on all fours. They use their hands very precisely and are able to pick out specific types of food. They also use their hands for grooming each other, which they do a lot of. They pick bugs and other harmful things out of each other's fur. Mostly the older ones groom the younger ones. They scratch each other too. They climb around a lot on the boulders, logs, and trees in their habitat. They have a very short tail (about 2 inches long) that is useless for grasping.
They are a type of animal that sometimes acts human and are our favorite animal of the Central Park Zoo.
