About Our School
Our school is a rural school located in central Nebraska amid farming
communties near the Platte river. We have ten students in grades K-5.
About Nebraska
The state of Nebraska is rich in wildlife. Eighty species of mammals
are recent and regular members of Nebraska's wildlife kingdom.
Nebraska is located in the heart of the Central flyway for migratory
birds such as Canada geese, Sandhill cranes, mallards, pintails,and
blue-winged teal. Pheasants, quail and numerous songbirds can be
found in Nebraska. This time of year at our school, we can hear and
often see, Meadowlarks, Red-winged Blackbirds, Flickers, Red-headed
Woodpeckers and many kinds of doves.
